YCSO AND DEPUTY DO RIGHT OUT IN FORCE FOR TWO LOCAL CHRISTMAS PARADES

Deputy Do Right led the way in Chino Valley and in Prescott over the weekend for YCSO entries in two Christmas parades.
Hundreds of folks showed up for the inaugural Chino Valley light parade December 6, and thousands of people packed downtown Prescott on December 7 for the daytime Christmas parade.
YCSO entries included decorated patrol cars, the SWAT Bearcat, and the DUI enforcement truck.

YCSO AND ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE TEAM UP FOR CRYPTO MACHINE WARNINGS

YCSO, with the backing of the AZ Attorney General's Office, has begun posting scam warning signs on cryptocurrency ATMs and Coinstar machines around the county.
The signs warn potential scam victims to STOP before they begin any cryptocurrency purchase related to scam callers who demand payment for phony past fines, warrants for arrest, online romance, relatives in jail or various other frauds.

YCSO CONTINUES EFFORT TO SAVE RESIDENTS FROM BECOMING SCAM VICTIMS

At presentations in Ash Fork and Black Canyon City, YCSO Fraud Investigator Ron Norfleet cautioned residents about several ongoing scams which have cost folks hundreds of thousands of dollars. His main advice: do not answer callers you don't recognize, hang up immediately when you know it's a scam, never click on links in e mails and text messages, and don't let scammers play on your emotions.
